Inspectors: Big Splash Water Park Safe To Open

TULSA, OK -- State Department of Labor inspectors say Tulsa's Big Splash Water Park is safe to open Saturday.

Several inspectors were on site Tuesday, looking for any safety violations.

Officials with the Department of Labor say a winter inspection uncovered several safety hazards at Big Splash, but they have been corrected.

In addition, there were no new orders for Big Splash to undergo before it opens this weekend.

The Department of Labor inspects water parks twice a year before a park opens - a winter test and a summer test.
