TULSA, OK -- Another cold front is headed to eastern Oklahoma and with that, there is the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms across the region Wednesday evening and early Thursday.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says strong thunderstorms will attempt to form near and ahead of this boundary.

Super cell storms will be likely during the early hours of this event and will be capable of very large hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and possibly a tornado or two.

Thursday's forecast calls for highs in the 70s and 80s. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast again Friday with scattered showers and highs returning to the 70s and 80s.
