Tulsa Man Found Guilty Of First-Degree Murder

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man has been found guilty in a shooting that killed one man and injured another.

Lawrence Taylor, 19, was given life without parole on a first-degree murder charge in the death of 22-year-old Joe Gomez.

Taylor was also found guilty of shooting with intent to kill and given an additional sentence of life with parole.

Police say Taylor shot Gomez and 25-year-old Anthony Baltazar in April 2008. Gomez's body was found in a car near the Eagle Point Apartments in Tulsa, and Baltazar survived.
