TULSA, OK -- One man was hospitalized early Wednesday morning when he went on a wild ride and wrecked his car.
Tulsa Police say the man had been acting irrational and had cut himself.
Officers say the unidentified man was northbound on Garnett when he took out some signs and went across a field at Newcomer International School at 10900 East 5th Street where he lost control.
He was trapped in his car and had to be pulled out when a small fire broke out in the engine.
Police say the man's injuries are not life threatening.
