Tulsa Police Chase Ends With Arrest

TULSA, OK -- An overnight Tulsa Police chase ends with one person back in custody.

The chase started at 27th and Memorial when a police officer tried to stop the driver. That driver got onto I-44. The vehicle then exited at Lewis and wound its way to a Quik Trip on Brookside.

Thirty-two-year-old Richard Lyons told Tulsa Police he had escaped from a treatment center and was in his girlfriend's car.

Lyons has a history of eluding police and drug possession. He also has an outstanding felony warrant out of Tulsa.

He was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
