BA Police: Drag Racing May Have Caused Accident

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Two people are seriously injured in a crash and Broken Arrow Police think it could have been caused by drag racing.

A Jeep and a Chevy Tahoe, both were traveling eastbound on 71st street near 193rd East Avenue in Broken Arrow Tuesday evening.

Witnesses say the Tahoe cut off the Jeep, causing it to swerve into westbound lanes of traffic. The Jeep then hit a minivan head-on.

Drivers in the Jeep and minivan were seriously injured. One had to be flown by air ambulance to the Broken Arrow hospital.

There's no word on their conditions.

Broken Arrow Police are looking for the driver of the Chevy Tahoe, who drove away from the scene.
