Recycling Center Offers Habitat Fundraiser

TULSA, OK -- In honor of earth day, Advanced Metal Recycling is doing a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. When you bring in metals to be recycled, you can choose to keep the money or donate it to Habitat.

Company representatives say it's a great way for people to give back to the community and it doesn't cost them a thing.

"Money is tight for everybody right now, so that's kind of why we designed the program that we did. You don't have to bring cash donations, although we do welcome that, but you can bring your recyclables and the money that we would pay for those items, we simply donate that to Habitat," said Todd Ray, Advanced Metal Recycling.

The fundraiser runs through Saturday. Advanced Metal Recycling is located at 2300 North Lewis Avenue in Tulsa.
