Man Killed In Crash Near Skiatook

TULSA COUNTY, OK -- A 42-year-old man died Friday when his tractor-trailer overturned east of Skiatook.

The crash occurred about 1 p.m. on State Highway 20 just east of State Highway 11, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol accident report.

Robert Cantrell of Kiefer was driving a semi carrying liquid propane when the vehicle left the roadway, returned and overturned, the report states.

Cantrell was partially ejected out the driver's-side window and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers reported.

A portion of the highway was closed for several hours while crews were dealing with leaking propane.
