TULSA, OK -- Tulsa firefighters were called to a house fire in the 1800 block of North Delaware Avenue just before 1 o'clock Monday afternoon.
Captain Michael Baker of the Tulsa Fire Department said heavy smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived on the scene. The back porch area of the single story home was fully involved.
Tim Smallwood with the Tulsa Fire Department says it appears that multiple cans of paint stored on the back porch may have exploded during the blaze.
The home sustained heavy smoke damage and fire damage. Also, a storage building next to
the house is a total loss.
The exact cause of the house fire has not been determined, but it appears to have been electrical in nature.
No injuries were reported.
