TULSA, OK -- Bishop Edward Slattery of the Diocese of Tulsa is asking the president of Notre Dame to cancel an invitation to President Barack Obama to speak at the school's graduation in May.

In a letter dated March 31, Bishop Slattery says he is making his request because he says President Obama promotes abortion, which is something the Catholic Church considers a sin.
