Convicted Tulsa Murderer Sentenced To Life

A 22-year-old Tulsa man accused of shooting a teenager has been sentenced to prison.

TULSA, OK -- A 22-year-old Tulsa man accused of shooting a teenager has been sentenced to prison.

A Tulsa County District Court on Thursday sentenced DeMario Adams to life in prison with the chance of parole.

Adams, also known as "Tweety," was found guilty in the shooting death of 19-year-old Juan Rodriguez in the parking lot of the Edenwood Apartments last March.

A jury found Adams guilty of first-degree murder last week.

Adams will be given credit for the time he has already served in the Tulsa County jail.
