OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents have arrested a father and son in connection with the robbery of an Idabel bank.
The FBI says 55-year-old Jesse Nanez, 55, and his 24-year-old son, Matthew Nanez were taken into custody following the robbery Wednesday of McCurtain County National Bank.
Authorities say an unidentified individual walked into the bank about 11:30 a.m. and robbed it.
The man was seen leaving in a white van with a partially obscured license plate. A few minutes after the robbery, OSBI special agents in Idabel heard about the robbery and observed a white van with something covering the license plate at a convenience store in west Idabel.
Both men were arrested without incident.
The money believed taken in the robbery was recovered.
