Young Has 1st Practice With Cowboys

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - New Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Bill Young says he's excited after his first practice with the Cowboys.

OSU began spring workouts on Monday.

Young says he sees athletic ability and talent in the players but says it's only the first day of workouts so he can't get too high or too low.

Young replaces Tim Beckman who was hired as head coach at Toledo.  Beckman attended Monday's workout because Toledo is on spring break.
