Tulsa Wreck Sends Woman To The Hospital

TULSA, OK  -- The driver of an SUV survived a crash in which her vehicle rolled onto its side.

Tulsa Police say the driver was heading north on Riverside drive when she lost control of the SUV at about 31st Street after she reached for a drink.

The vehicle ran through an iron fence into the Sundance Apartments parking lot.

Police say it hit a concrete column, then rolled on its side and slid for about 20 feet.

The driver was treated at the scene for bumps and bruises before an ambulance took her to the hospital.

Police say she is expected to be okay.
