OWASSO, OK -- Funeral services will be Saturday in Illinois for a former Owasso man who was killed in Afghanistan.

The U.S. Department of Defense says 25-year-old Sergeant Schuyler Patch, and three others in his vehicle, were killed in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

The military lists Patch's hometown as Owasso.

He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 106th Cavalry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

The explosion occurred on February 24.

Patch and his family have lived in Illinois for several years.
