OSUMC Measure Approved By Senate

Under the measure, the state would contribute $5 million a year for the next five years to the operation of OSUMC.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Senate passed House Bill 1127, which provides the first installment in a public-private agreement reached with local and state leaders late last year concerning the Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa.

Under the measure, the state would contribute $5 million a year for the next five years.

The bill now goes to the governor's desk.
