OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Plunging oil prices spell cutbacks for Chesapeake Energy.

The Oklahoma City-based company says it's cutting oil and natural gas production about 7% because of declining prices.

Chesapeake announced plans to eliminate all but 40 of the 225 jobs at its Charleston, West Virginia office last week.
