OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Plunging oil prices spell cutbacks for Chesapeake Energy.
The Oklahoma City-based company says it's cutting oil and natural gas production about 7% because of declining prices.
Chesapeake announced plans to eliminate all but 40 of the 225 jobs at its Charleston, West Virginia office last week.
