Braised Red Cabbage

3 to 4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
½ to ¾ cup chicken broth
1 tsp. crushed dried thyme
Fresh ground pepper to taste

Place chicken broth in a large skillet. Add cabbage and spices. Bring the broth to a boil, turn heat down to medium and put a tight fitting lid on the skillet. Let the cabbage cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve.
