TULSA, OK -- Fire officials have determined a fire that destroyed a Tulsa home Saturday was intentionally set.
Flames were coming from the one-story home in the 1600 block of North Birmingham Avenue when firefighters arrived about 4:20 p.m., Tulsa Fire Capt. Michael Baker said.
No one was home and it is unknown whether the house was occupied, Baker said. The loss amount has not been determined.
Neighbors reported hearing loud noise in the area before noticing the fire, and the house had a possible meth lab inside.
Arson was found to be the cause, but no suspect information has been released.
