WILBURTON, Okla. (AP) -- A reward is being offered in the killing of a Latimer County woman in June.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $5,000 and the family of Marie Dighton is offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Dighton's death.
OSBI officials say the 67-year-old Dighton was found by someone from the sheriff's office inside her home in Buffalo Valley in southern Latimer County on June 8. Officials say Dighton's daughter had requested a welfare check on her mother.
Dighton had a cut to her throat.
Anyone with information is asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
