OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A northbound Burlington Northern-Santa Fe train in Oklahoma City apparently sparked two grass fires Sunday afternoon.

The first fire was near NE 114 Street and Interstate 235. The second fire was sparked near NW 88 Street and Western Avenue.

Oklahoma City firefighters said about 15 acres at both locations were burned. The fires threatened two area business, but no structures were damaged by the blaze.

It took almost 30 minutes to get the fires extinguished.

Meanwhile, in far northwestern Oklahoma, investigators are looking into two fires they say are suspicious.

Fire crews from five counties including a crew from Kansas were called out to battle the blazes Sunday near Buffalo.

Fire officials said the main fire burned nearly 3,200 acres. No structures were damaged by the fires.
