Leak Causes Downtown Tulsa Icicles

TULSA, OK -- A broken plastic water line under a sink in First Place Tower at 5^th and Boston in downtown Tulsa caused an icy mess Tuesday morning. 

Officials with Kanbar Properties say the broken line was on the building's 20^th floor and it apparently went undetected for some time. 

Officials say the water found its way to the outside of the building Tuesday morning and turned to icicles.  

Those icicles began falling and building officials closed off sidewalks on the east and south sides of the building. 

Nobody was injured and no vehicles parked nearby were damaged.

Kanbar officials say offices on the floor below the leak received some minor water damage.
