NORMAN, OK -- Tony Crocker scored a game-high 20 points to lead No. 4 Oklahoma to a 93-62 victory over Coppin State on Saturday.
Crocker connected on five 3-point attempts, including four in the opening half when the Sooners raced out to leads of 20-6 and 34-13 over the Eagles (2-11).
The Sooners (13-1) eventually settled for 45-23 at the intermission behind 15 points from Crocker and 12 from Blake Griffin, who went on to record his 11th double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Coming off of its first loss of the season against Arkansas on Tuesday, Oklahoma shot 54% from the field and outrebounded Coppin State 48-29. In all, five Sooners scored in double-figures, including Willie Warren (14), Omar Leary (11) and Ray Willis (10).
The Eagles (2-11) were led by Tywain McKee, who entered the contest averaging 19.3 points per game and finished with 20.
