TULSA, OK -- He might not have been the first born, but he was definitely in a rush to make his debut. Some expectant Tulsa parents were on their way to the hospital early Thursday morning, when they realized they didn't have time to get to the hospital.
They pulled over at this QuikTrip, Dad ran to flag down a police officer who called EMSA. Paramedics arrived and delivered the baby right there in car.
"At the time, I don't think that everything clicked, you know. Everything happened so fast, so it was just one of those things that, well, I was just doing my job. But, it's exciting to get to help with something like that, and have an exciting day," said paramedic Stephanie Powell.
Everyone was transported to the hospital to be checked out. EMSA says mom and baby both appeared to be in good condition.
