TULSA, OK -- Efforts to keep shoppers safe during the holiday season are being called a success.
Throughout the month, officers with the Tulsa Police Department logged almost 600 hours patrolling the 41st Street corridor between Yale and Sheridan as part of Operation Safe Shopper.
Tulsa police made 18 arrests, served four warrants, worked 13 collisions and conducted 85 pedestrian checks. In addition to those efforts, plain clothes officers also patrolled the parking lots and inside Promenade Mall.
