DNA Links Tulsa Suspect To Rape

TULSA, OK -- A man accused of sexually assaulting a Tulsa woman two years ago has been arrested.

Tulsa Police say 25-year-old Derek Don Posey was arrested and taken into custody after DNA linked him to the attack.

Posey is charged with rape by instrumentation and first degree burglary. Tulsa Police say Posey raped and beat a woman in her apartment in the early hours of October 2, 2006.

Posey remains in the Tulsa County jail.
