UNDATED -- Dozens of abandoned Oklahoma pit bulls have a new home in California.
More than 100 dogs were rescued from a farm near Newkirk earlier this month.
Most of the dogs were chained to logs, 10 more were found locked in a barn with no food or water, one was dead.
Investigators say the pit bulls had to fight over a handful of food a day. Now, a San Francisco rescue group called "Bad Rap" have taken a number of the dogs to their headquarters in California.
The same group dealt with Michael Vick's fighting dogs.
The dog's owner was arrested for animal abuse.
