Winterfest Close To Wrapping Up

TULSA, OK -- As the holidays come and go, soon to will downtown's Winterfest. You only have a few more days to head out and enjoy all the seasonal fun downtown.

There's ice skating, carriage rides and of course lots of winter treats.

Organizers say the event has been very successful and averaged around 900 visitors on the weekends alone.

"This is something Tulsans have enjoyed and something that we hope becomes a holiday tradition here in Tulsa," said Jeff Nickler of Winterfest.

"Every family should come out and ice skate, because it's great family bonding time," said Camille Sokolosky.

Winterfest runs through New Year's Eve, and is open from noon to 10 p.m. every day except Christmas.
