OWASSO, OK - It's all aboard to find the symbol of the season at the Owasso Tree and Berry Farm.
"Every year, we always get our tree out here. It's lots of fun," said Susan Bohannon of Tulsa.
Susan Bohannon visited the farm with her two grandchildren, her friend Laura and dog Bailey.
A hayrack takes visitors to find a tree to trim, a perfect way of getting into the Christmas spirit.
"We're looking for something about my height, which is 5'5" and will fit through our front door," said Bohannon.
The farm has about 3,000 trees to choose from and the entire Bohannon family searched for the perfect pine -- even Bailey sniffed things out.
"It's just different than going to the store and buying a tree. It's looking and cutting it down. It's just the whole experience," said Bohannon. "It's a good Christmas memory."
This year, Susan's family will look back and remember how fast they found their tree. It took just five minutes.
"It was easy this year. Some years it's harder," said Bohannon. "Some years we've been out here for quite some time, but we found the perfect one pretty quick today.
"We go every year and buy special ornaments. The girls get to pick out an ornament for themselves to put on the tree."
Amid all the hustle and bustle, Susan's slowing down and taking a moment to enjoy this time of year, with the ones she holds dear.
"I just think family's so important and giving kids memories of happy things," said Bohannon. "You know, we're all so busy anymore that you don't have a whole lot of time to do those kinds of special things."
