TULSA, OK - Ray Johnson, a father of six, disappeared exactly three months ago Thursday and his wife is still looking for answers.
They've searched for miles, put up a reward worth thousands; now this wife is hoping to re-create the scene of the crime, hoping to jog someone's memory.
Adriene Wherry says the morning her husband didn't come home she found his car parked out in front of his business, but no sign of him.
"And I just hope somebody had driven by and maybe they saw him you know maybe they'll call in and give us some more information," said Wherry.
It's been three months. Wherry says Ray is a family man, a father of six, who would never abandon his family.
Police suspect foul play, because blood was found in the car.
"Ray doesn't deserve to be kept away from his family, from what he loves," said Wherry.
There have been dozens of leads. The reward for his return has climbed to $50,000, but still no Ray. But Wherry only has to look down into her son's eyes to see him.
"He looks just like him and acts like him, too," said Wherry.
And when her babies ask "where's daddy" this mother who is trying so hard to take care of them and manage her husband's business, just doesn't know what to say.
"He doesn't really know what's going on. But he knows his daddy. And I hope he gets to see him again. I want him to see him again," said Wherry.
She keeps his missing poster on the door of the business and vows to keep searching, even though as the days stretch into months, it's harder to keep hoping.
"I just don't want anyone to forget Ray. He's important. And I'm not going to give up on him," said Wherry.
If you have any information about Ray Johnson's whereabouts, please call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
