UNDATED -- Office Depot says that it plans to close 126 stores as the economic downturn affects demand from small businesses and retail customers for office supplies.
Office Depot plans to close 112 underperforming retail stores in North America over the next three months. Office Depot, in a news release, says 45 of those stores are in the central U.S.
The company has not yet released a list of stores that are a part of the closing announcement.
The company has 6 stores in the Tulsa area. Five stores are in Tulsa and one is in Owasso.
