FAIRLAND, OK -- There are new developments involving a former police chief accused of passing counterfeit money while in uniform.
Former Fairland Police Chief William Moore is now charged with trying to pawn firearms belonging to two Ottawa County police departments.
The guns were issued to Moore when he was a part-time police officer in Commerce and the Fairland police chief.
Moore is also accused of buying a pre-paid Visa card with counterfeit $100 bills.
