UNDATED -- The last time Booker T. Washington won a state championship, quarterback Eric Bennett's dad was a member of the team.

Twenty-four years later, he has made papa proud.

Bennett rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-17 victory over Carl Albert. It's the Hornets first gold ball since the 1984 season.

Booker T. Washington ends the season 13-1.

The ground game was also going in Broken Arrow, site of the 4A final between Glenpool and Bishop McGuinness. Warrior junior Marco Nelson rushed for 245 yards and three scores in a 27-17 win against the Irish.

Glenpool's win avenges last year's 14-9 loss to McGuinness in the state championship game.

It's the Warriors first gold ball since 2002.

Glenpool finishes the season 14-0.

The 3A final featured a pair of district three teams battling for the state championship. The clash between Claremore-Sequoyah and Cascia Hall came down to the waning moments of the ballgame.

The Commandos scored with 1:45 remaining to give Cascia Hall a 28-21 victory.

It's Cascia's second consecutive championship and they have won its last 28 games.
