Theatre Opens Doors To Shelters

TULSA, OK -- A special group of actors performed Thursday night for a select group of Tulsa kids.

The Spotlight Children's Theatre near Riverside and Houston opened their dress rehearsal of "The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe" and invited underprivileged children from several Tulsa shelters.

Organizers say most of the kids would miss the performance otherwise and many had never seen a live play before.

The theatre also sent the kids home with early Christmas gifts.

"The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" runs through December 14th.
