After crunching the 5A, 4A and 3A semi-final games all into Saturday afternoon, the state finals are set.

UNDATED, OK -- After crunching the 5A, 4A and 3A semi-final games all into Saturday afternoon, the state finals are set. The dates, times and sites of all games will be released on Sunday.

In 5A, Booker T. Washington will meet Carl Albert in next week's state championship game. The Hornets defeated El Reno 28-7 in Sand Springs. Carl Albert blew out Lawton MacArthur 47-14 in Norman.

Booker T. Washington's last trip to the state finals was in 2004, where they lost to Carl Albert in Stillwater. The Hornets' last championship came in 1984.

Glenpool and Bishop McGuinness will meet in the 4A championship for the second straight year. The Warriors beat Broken Bow 12-7 on touchdowns from Marco Nelson and Israel Maselara. McGuinness scored in the closing moments of its game against Grove, winning 29-28.

3A featured a pair of close games. Cascia Hall edged Tuttle 13-10, while Claremore-Sequoyah won 34-31 against Clinton. Cascia and Sequoyah will be a week 9 rematch in which the Commandos defeated the Eagles for the District 3 title.
