Hearing On Former Teacher Rescheduled

TULSA, OK -- A former Tulsa teacher accused of killing his wife was expected in Tulsa County District Court, but the hearing has been delayed until late December. 

John Kastner was scheduled to be formally arraigned in a courtroom Monday.   A new court date has been set for December 22nd.

Kastner is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of his wife last June. 

Kastner originally told Tulsa Police an intruder broke into their home and used the couple's gun to shoot his wife twice in the head. 

Tulsa Police say that story fell apart during the investigation.
