Cox To Cut Jobs

UNDATED -- Atlanta-based Cox Communications is cutting jobs as the cable operator restructures operations because of the slowing economy.

Cox has about 2,200 employees in Oklahoma but a spokeswoman says the specifics of the cuts aren't known.

The job cuts represent two percent of the company's work force across the country and will be finalized during the first quarter of next year.
