TULSA, OK -- One person is killed in an overnight traffic accident.
The accident happened on East 12th Street at Lynn Lane shortly after 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Tulsa Police say a man was southbound on Lynn Lane at a high rate of speed shortly after midnight. Officers say the driver lost control and hit a utility pole, throwing him from the vehicle.
The driver's name has not yet been released.
