UNDATED -- As Oklahomans get ready to vote, the latest Oklahoma Poll still shows an easy win for John McCain in the Sooner State next Tuesday.
The News On 6 survey with the Tulsa World of 350 voters statewide shows Senator McCain maintaining comfortable lead in Oklahoma.
Among likely voters, 57% say they plan to vote for McCain. Another 33% say they'll vote for Senator Barack Obama. And, 10% remain undecided.
The only bad news for the Republicans in Oklahoma is the vice-presidential nominee. Of those polled, 70% say Senator Joe Biden is qualified to be president. Compared to 52% who say Governor Palin is qualified for the presidency.
Despite their lead, the Republican ticket is not being helped by President George W. Bush, even in Oklahoma. Bush's approval rating is only 38%, down 10% from January.
