Students Helping Those In Need

TULSA, OK -- Some local students are also chipping in to help those in need. The Mingo Valley Christian School's Key Club held a canned food drive to support Tulsa's John 3:16 Mission.

The students collected food and nonperishable items and will give them to the mission to support their annual Thanksgiving baskets.

"It's a blessing it's an amazing feeling that you're helping others, even if you've never met the people that you're asking for food, even though you've never met the people that you're going to give the food to.  It's a great blessing," said Phillip Sartin.
