Bar Fight Shooting

TULSA, OK -- Police are still looking for a suspect in the city's latest shooting.

The shooting happened late Sunday night at the Trapeze Lounge near 31st and Mingo. 

The victim was identified as 33-year old Jose Arturo Rangel Mendez. He was shot in the stomach during a fight. At last word, the victim is in serious condition. 

Tulsa Police say after the shooting, the gunman ran off. 

Officers say several people were involved in the fight, but they don't believe the shooter and victim knew each other. 

"Due to the loud music inside the bar nobody even heard the shot. So, it's a small caliber weapon," said Tulsa Police Cpl. C.J. Jackson.

Translators had to be brought in to help sort out what happened because of a language barrier.
