UNDATED -- NewsOn6.com is gearing up for week six of high school football action. This week's game-of-the-week features the Tigers and the Trojans. Here's how the battle between Broken Arrow and Jenks breaks down.
THE TIGERS (4-1, 1-1 6A-3)
Last Week: lost to Muskogee 25-22
FEATURED: The Tigers reign as the number one team in 6A ended last week with a loss to the Roughers on the final play of the game.
KEY TO SUCCESS: A loss this week could drop the Tigers into third place in 6A-3 district play. This road game may be the biggest of the season for Broken Arrow.
THE TROJANS (4-1, 2-0 6A-3)
LAST WEEK: Defeated Sapulpa 63-0
FEATURED: Since the Trojans overtime loss in the Backyard Bowl, Jenks has quietly scored 112 points in its last three games while only allowing six points against Owasso, Claremore and Sapulpa.
KEY TO SUCCESS: Like Broken Arrow, this is a key piece to the 6A-3 district puzzle. A Trojan win Friday night more than likely means the district championship will come down to a road game at Muskogee on Halloween.
