STILLWATER, OK -- OSU football fans headed to Saturday's game in Stillwater are being urged to consider another route instead of the Cimarron Turnpike.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says due to construction on the Stillwater Spur of the Cimarron Turnpike, motorists could experience lengthy delays.
These delays are being caused by a rehabilitation project along the Spur that has traffic in single lanes in both directions.
Oklahoma State is playing Texas A&M this weekend in Stillwater.
The OTA is suggesting motorists consider taking State Highway 177 north to State Highway 64 then east on 64 to the Cimarron Turnpike. Fans can also take State Highway 51 east out of Stillwater to State Highway 18 then north on 18 to the Cimarron Turnpike.
Officials say construction will be completed on the Stillwater Spur before OSU's next home football game October 18.
