CLAREMORE, OK -- An accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike involving two semi tractor trailers put a stop to traffic for a time early Thursday morning near the Claremore exit.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told the News On 6, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes and that all eastbound traffic was halted while emergency crews worked to clean up the accident scene.

There was no report of any injuries from the accident.

The accident happened shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday.
