Recall Effort Turned Down

TULSA, OK -- The effort by several neighborhood groups to recall two Tulsa City Councilors is stopped for now.

Councilors Eric Gomez and David Patrick were the targets of the recall effort which started over their support for a housing development at Yale and Interstate 244.

The city clerk determined the recall petitions didn't meet the standard for a recall, but the neighborhood groups say they'll likely try again.
