There is a new way to travel for Tulsa police. Officers patrolling the BOK Center downtown will use Segways to get around. Tulsa Police Chief Ron Palmer felt the two-wheelers were an environmentally friendly, economical way for police to patrol the new arena.

"The cost of one of these is about one-quarter of what we would pay for a fully equipped police car, we think we're saving money that way, we're certainly saving money on fuel," said Tulsa Police Chief Ron Palmer.

You'll see officers on six new Segways and more on bicycles beginning Saturday at the Eagles concert.
