TULSA, OK - A Tulsa police officer was taken to a hospital early Sunday morning after his patrol car hit another vehicle.
The wreck happened at approximately 12:30am near the intersection of Admiral and Harvard in Tulsa. Police say an officer was responding to a call when a pickup truck turned in front of him.
Police say the officer T-boned the truck then smashed into a light pole. EMSA took the officer to a hospital with a bloody nose and face lacerations, but no life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt, but was arrested on a complaint of DUI. An adult female in the truck was taken to the hospital for examination.
As well as the DUI complaint, the pickup driver could also possibly face child endangerment charges because three juveniles were also in the truck.
