Driver Found Upside Down In Wreckage

A man is found alive in the wreckage of his SUV, thanks to a passing motorist.

A motorist spotted a vehicle among some trees west of Sand Springs around 3 a.m. Thursday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a Chevy Yukon was speeding when he started swerving and lost control. The SUV ended up on its top.

A motorist called in the accident and found the driver hanging upside down. The man suffered head injuries and other cuts but will recover.

OHP troopers did find evidence the victim had been drinking.
