Truck Accident Snarls Traffic

An accident Friday morning resulted in some problems during the rush hour in downtown Tulsa.

The driver of an industrial waste truck was going westbound on I-244 near Cincinnati when he lost control on the wet pavement.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrols says the trash truck hit a guardrail and ended up on its side shutting down two lanes of the highway.

It took over an hour for crews to put the truck back on its wheels.

OHP troopers say the driver was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
