Trial Against School District To Begin

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- A federal jury will hear the case in a lawsuit against Hilldale Public Schools over a former band instructor.

The parents of a 14-year-old girl, who alleged an inappropriate sexual relationship with Bryan Giacomo, allege Hilldale officials were negligent in their duties.

Giacomo pleaded guilty in March to 16 counts and was sentenced to six years in prison.
